Engine Code (P1104)
Ok well ever since i had my car the engine light has been on and i went to autozone and came back with 1 code ....2 times of the same codes (P1104) Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Malfunction - "looked it up in my CHILTON Book"
What can i do to fix the Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid...and if i replace it would that code go away
If the person that had it before me took off the Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Restrictor...would that make the enigne light come on

RE: Engine Code (P1104)
If you remove the negative battery cable and wait about 10 seconds and then put it back on it should erase any codes you have. If it comes back then obviously the problem hasn't been fixed. Are you using a turbo thats internally gated?

Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Restrictor you can break those things very easily and i'd assume if he did it would throw a check engine. I'll let one of the other dsmer's that are more familiar with these cars chime in.

Since you have a boost controller you can disconnect the other vacuum line from the BCS and the light shouldn't come back on. If you need help with the vacuum routing don't hesitate to let me know. Good luck brother

RE: Engine Code (P1104)
the boost control solenoid. There are 2 vacuum lines running into it. The top one is from the manifold and the bottom one goes to the waste gate actuator. So basically it is like an electronic boost controller. You could tap your boost controller in this way if you'd like. But I'm pretty sure as long as the solenoid is reading zero... as oppossed to having vacuum going nowhere... the light won't return. I'll try to post a diagram if i'm not making any sense. Its late haha..

The boost control solenoid needs to remain plugged in electronically in the 2Gs. That could be why you're getting the CEL SoulHacker. The BCS is located under the MAF area. It has two vacuum nipples on it like Oh_what_up stated.
