I am looking at getting my girlfriend a 1998 Spyder GS-T with just under 83k. Really the only aftermarket is 4' Muffler and BlowOff Valve. Not sure about the 60k tune up but other than that seem clean. How much should I offer?

I would offer $4000 . if he doesnt like that offer then you can always offer more.

 

thats a tuffy, its a really nice car(sounds like it) I would say 6 is fair, but I wouldnt be suprised if the guy asked a bit more then that.

 

well i paid $8,500 for my 97 gst spyder with 71,000 miles. It already had a injen intake and Greddy car-back on it. It also had the 60K tune up done.

 

Ya dont forget Spyders are a little more than coupes in price. $6k for a 98 coupe is good but id still offer $6 for the spyder BUT find out if it has had the 60k servise because it should be documented somewhere since at 60k the Tioming belt is recommended to be done and if not do that ASAP other wise if it slips or snaps you got one expensive head fix to deal with

 

I paid $9800 for my 98 spyder last march.I bought it with 70k on it,i feel i got a good deal as it was clean and unmolested.you be the judge
