1g and 2g windshields

so ive got a crack in my windshield, and i have access to a free 1g windshield. Are they shaped the same or are they different? What im asking is, can i use the 1g windshield in my 2g talon?

it doesnt matter anyways, the stupid freshman thought it would be funny to break all of the glass out on the auto shops talon... [>:]
