Default Overheating at idle - 420A

Hey first time posting, long time reader.

My son has a 95 eclipse with the 2.0L - 420a motor. It overheats at idle and we've noticed the electric fan is not working. We replaced fuses and put on a new radiator cap, so what should we look at next?

- Is there an in-line fuse somewhere?
- Temp sensor - if so where is it?
- Thermostat?

We live in Texas and the summer will be a scorcher, so we need to get ready.

Thanks,

Hondo21

i had this problem on my 81 VW. its probably a temp sensor on the radiator thats sole purpose is to turn on the fan. Look for loose connections

I have herd of this before, check the thermo, they tend to wear like other car parts as well. Also check your fan relay.
