Hey everyone like to ask a few questions if I could about transmission issues on this car. I am about to buy a rebuild kit w/ synchros and commence the repair on my tranny which I believe the synchros are toast in.
Before I spend a ton of money on the kit was wondering if someone could share some info on it, the issues are;
1) 4th gear pops out of gear under load (but can coast)
2) 2nd gear recently stopped going into gear, engine on/off
I'm guessing the 2nd gear synchro has shifted out of place and the 4th gear synchro is pinched and the gear pops out, but I'm not a tranny guy.
