Default clock light color

sup guyz??

does anyone know how to change the color of the clock, and the heatin nossels??

i have a blue alpine mp3 player and blue dash gauge.......
i wanna change the color in the clock... is this possible??
does this change? thanx.............

They sell kits to do this. I forget the site name though... if you want it done quicker, remove the stock bulbs from the clock console and replace them with one of those 3 inch little neon tubes.

i jus found a site called..."superbrightleds.com"....

someone told me to use leds... whats the difference??
and would i have to take of the whole dash?

It isnt hard to remove the HVAC controls, and its just as easy to get the clock apart. First take off the radio bezel, which can be done by removing the two screws at the bottom, then it will pop off, careful for the clips, they can be a bitch, after that unhook the clip that holds the 4way blinker switch harness in place and youll see two screws up top for the clock pod, and two down below for the HVAC controls. Ive heard mixed opinions on the LEDS, when trying to make them blue, some people have ended up with a green tone due to the stock overlay color thats on there.

Its easy i bought a set of leds at advanced for like 7 dollars i also have an alpine and blue gauges all you have to do is strip the led wires short and take the stock bulbs out and twist the wires were the black piece meets the green board no splicing to the car required so you can take them back out and revert back to stock with ease.

Is that an Indiglow Gauge or did you do that yourself too?

Its indiglow i could have also changed the color behind the odometer the same way but i put those in before i figured out how to do the clock and i dont feel like going back and taking that apart again.

I think those are Reverse GLO gauges if I'm not mistaken.
