I am getting this too. It is rather annoying.
I am trying to post a how-to on boost leak testers and I even tried to post several times with this inability to post. Grrrr. I hope it's fixed soon.

Sebba
06-11-2008, 04:30 PM

You guys were right about the word h a v i n g. I had a message I treid to post on 2 different computers and tried a dozen times. As soon as I removed that word, it posted the first time.

Im a new member who joined last week and I too have intermittent problems when posting. Within the same login session, some posts will work fine, others won't.

Sebba

The word l i k e is causing a problem for me now

EMonz57

Sebba

Also, my posts are going missing... even the good ones.

I posted a video about the tire cracking thing in this guys thread... and I saw the thread again to see if someone had watched it and responded... but my post was gone.

I know for a fact I made the post, because I came back to it.

Sebba
08-01-2008, 06:58 PM
It has been SO freakin long, you really think it is going to get fixed?

I think the forum is d00med

dsm1990gsx
08-02-2008, 07:57 PM
Who is in charge of fixing the forum errors? Its almost impossible to do anything.

Sebba
08-03-2008, 12:01 PM
That would be Patrick.

silvercoupe97
08-03-2008, 03:36 PM

Sebba
08-04-2008, 12:37 AM
There are a couple words that cause issues. One is 'L ike' , 'havi ng' and I don't know what else.

EMonz57

You guys do realize the forum is going threw and upgrade with VB. the admin put up a follow up sticky about the post error matter.

Sebba
08-04-2008, 10:08 AM

I know, I've seen it and the forum has been l ike this for a long time. How long do these "updates" usually last?

HandyPal

I keep a notepad file open and type my message into it, then I copy-paste in here. Also try avoiding many apostrophes in the message. Additionally split your long post into smaller chunks until each goes through.
This ismy response to the screw-up...

silvercoupe97
08-22-2008, 12:24 AM
Has everyone else been able to post more lately? It seems that upgrading the other sister sites have made this older board work again...or is it just me? lol

Sebba
08-23-2008, 01:24 PM
Like like like like like like like having having having having having having having....

Apostrophies are still jacked up

Rob
10-07-2008, 07:31 AM

EMonz57

This site is converting to VB. so things are all out of wack during the process

Sebba
10-10-2008, 05:11 PM
Just exactly how long is this process supposed to take?

EMonz57
10-10-2008, 06:44 PM
I have no clue. But I am going to assume that if they are doing upgrading to our site all of the sister sites run under the same owners are seeing the same upgrades so there is quite a bit of work im sure.

For better answers I would PM just ask Patrick see if he knows

dsm1990gsx
10-13-2008, 02:13 PM
Hopefully its soon b/c I cant stand not being able to use the search function.

TheEngineer
10-15-2008, 07:51 PM
they have already upgraded a few of their sites. Like dodgeforum http://www.dodgeforum.com/just to give a little teaser of what to expect. And also to show how much work it will take them. They have a TON of sites to go through

Sebba
10-15-2008, 08:56 PM
I guess we are just insignificant.

TheEngineer
10-16-2008, 08:08 AM
well they are obviously going to update the larger sites first. Where they get the most hits by users and where they have more sponsers. We are not even on the top 5 i believe in their list of sites most visited. At least last i remember
