First of all, make sure your ground is in a secure place so that it is touching the bare metal of the frame somewhere. Second, check the fuse for your remote wire. If this does not work, you might want to replace the fuse that runs in-line from the battery to the amp. As I said, the remote wire might not be getting power either. Write back on any encounters you may have.

double check your remote wire goin to your stereo. even if everything is getting power the amps not going to turn on without that correct. also, i dont kno if anyone with the eclipse infinity system has the same deal, but my amp only turns on if i power up the radio first and then go to the cd player. if i go to cd from off directly the amp stays powered off. i ran the same remote wire as the last owner did, so maybe she jus ran the wrong one or is that just how eclipses are??

yea, we thought about that too, but the remote wire is hooked up correctly also and i had subs in there before with the stock system, but now i put a new head unit in, the speakers still work fine with the stock amp, just the one for the sub wont power up......... the ground is good too.........[:@]

Don't just visually check all those connections, get a multimeter and check for power at all those connections. Check the remote turn on when it should be on, check to see the power wire is giving power and just work until you find something wrong then go from there. If all this stuff is 100% there might be something wrong with the amp.

No problem, you only remember stuff like that when you're forgotten to do it a whole bunch of times. Cause you never remember the simple things like that until after you've done far too much work and missed something really simple.
