So, for those of you who OWN a new eclipse, or if your significant other owns one, would you be interested in an aftermarket lower grille section if it was premade and easy to install?

View Full Version : Aftermarket 2006 Eclipse Grille! Patrick 07-07-2005, 08:01 PM So, for those of you who OWN a new eclipse, or if your significant other owns one, would you be interested in an aftermarket lower grille section if it was premade and easy to install? Riptide 07-11-2005, 02:21 PM I can fully understand why people want to see it first. I personally wouldn't buy one if I couldn't get a look at it, at the very least, on an Eclipse. There is one for sale right now on e-bay, but the pictures they have are photoshopped. That is just as good as not having pictures, in my opinion. wicked_outlander 07-16-2005, 02:47 PM better to check it out first, before buying it. slow420a 09-05-2005, 11:25 AM ORIGINAL: wicked_outlander_from_his_quote The Japanese towns of Rokkosan, Hakone, Irohazaka, and various hill climbs in Nagano are all steeped in legends of the origins of drifting. No one can really pinpoint drifting's actual birthplace but the movement started in the mid 1960s. Drifting started as a type of racing(way to take turns), in the jap rally racing. get435 09-07-2005, 02:14 PM is spydergs still here? Hahahaha Riptide 10-18-2005, 01:52 AM Update: The 1st grill was finished and installed this evening. Will have photo's soon. :) Patrick 10-18-2005, 03:36 PM awesome! i look forward to it! Riptide 10-18-2005, 06:19 PM Pics of the one I put on my car (complete with bend on left side because I had a little accident while putting the dang edging on.) http://www.liquidmillennium.com/grill/grill7_t.jpg (http://www.liquidmillennium.com/grill/grill7.jpg) 56k warning! Main image is 2.3mb! Sanguinius 10-19-2005, 03:25 PM Looks good man. (Though I'd try to take the plate holder off the front and try to bolt the plate behind the grille.... but that's just me I HATE the plate holders in the front like that and I had my plate strapped behind the grill on my Sentra body kit) Riptide 10-19-2005, 04:54 PM Yeah. A number of people want to see it without the front plate. Unfortunately, there is a strong possibility that there are a couple parts that the plate bolts screw into. Taking it off would result in a small clattering sound inside the bumper, shortly followed by a string of colorful words from my mouth. If that wasn't the issue, I'd remove it in a heartbeat. get435 10-19-2005, 05:44 PM ORIGINAL: Riptide Taking it off would result in a small clattering sound inside the bumper, shortly followed by a string of colorful words from my mouth. Sanguinius 10-19-2005, 06:38 PM LOL they make it so you CAN'T remove them nowadays :( Riptide 10-19-2005, 07:05 PM I'm going to re-install my grill this evening. I've painted the brackets flat black. Anyone interested in pictures of that? Any other requests on photo angles? Riptide 03-04-2006, 11:57 PM Well now. Been a while since I was by this forum. Update for those who haven't seen it already. I've been selling the grilles since late December. Not sure if I can post info on where to buy them. [&:] Some pics: http://www.liquidmillennium.com/images/grill8_t.jpg (http://www.liquidmillennium.com/images/grill8.jpg) Obviously I did finally take off the front license plate thing. It wasn't as bad as I thought. ictponder 03-05-2006, 02:41 AM The new Eclipse looks somewhat like an Aston Martin db9 minus the extra 6 cylinders lol. Riptide 03-05-2006, 02:48 AM I've had people ask me if it was one of those newer Maseratis I've seen pics of them, and I think they are quite different. There are some lines that are similar though. I like the AM Vanquish. :) inspiredbydesign 05-10-2007, 05:08 PM where could I find a front grill for the new eclipse??? I think the car kind of looks bad without one, or would it interfere with the engine cooling if I added one? chillinsb 05-23-2007, 02:44 AM im definitely down for a grill on the lower part of my front end.... make a sick black one that will match the top or make a new one for the top and a mtaching one for the bottom |
