I just purchased my second eclipse (98 gst). The battery must have been disconnected because it wants a code for the stereo. i guess it's some sort of theft prevention, but from what i understand it's written on the back of it anyways, or atleast on my other eclipse stereo it was. Anyways, does anyone know if there is a number i can call to get the code for my stereo if i give them my VIN or anything? I took the stereo out of my last and ended up just replacing it, but it was a mess. HELP! Thanks for listening!

ya i just had that same problem with my girlfriends stock cd player/ radio. Take out the deck and on the top it should give you a serial number....get that # and call this number and ask for your radio code.....1(608)784-9600 they will give your code for FREE
