Hello

Can anyone recommend an exhaust system with cat replacement?Is magnex any good?Should i change the downpipe,take the cat out and change the whole system to the back???

Would be grateful for any information or hints

Well generally you get what you pay for. you want to get 3 inch and yes go with no cat or at least a high flow cat get a DP as well. Most systems are up there in price nearing $1000 for the turbo back, but Megan offers a turbo back for under $600 but I hear it doesnt sound that great. I would say HKS, Greddy or, Apex-i

try HKS, sounds agressive.

i like buschurs exhaust they have for our cars.

well i personally bought an exhaust straight from japan its called invidia and it sounds real nice. its a whole cat back exhaust system made for the evo 8, but its high in price, but like people say if u want quality than u gotta spend the money.

I have read that the Ividia exhaust for the EVO sounds bad an isnt that great. NOw im not saying that because I have had invidia exhaust on my 3G GT before i got my EVO and it was the best sounding exhaust I have herd for that car.

I also just heard the megan racing exhaust which is cheap...$525 for full 3inch TURBOBACK and it sounded unbeilivably good for cheap exhaust

The guy who owned my evo before me put a perrin downpipe and hks cat back and the car just plain purrs.

In the EVO VIDEO sticky there are a bunch of videos with my car I have Megan turbo back which I highly recommend. it comes with down pipe test pipe and catback it has 3 o2 bungs so wideband o2 with have a home no need to weld one in. it sounds amazing and it was only $550 shipped, now compaire that to other turbo backs were you will be paying $1100 or so. ill take Megan racing over and over again

I still stand behind my Megan racing Exhaust 110% best 3inch for $550 shipped and sounds great

oh and $550 includes catback test pipe(cat delete) and Down pipe all 3 inch

I just received a high flow cat and Magnaflow exhaust system. I'll let you know how it all turns out.....I'm going to post a video...

why would you post that? you dont have an EVO aor know what is common or works well with them lol. Your car might sound desent or something but the EVO will not sound like a GSt

Plus I am not sure if 5Zigen makes one for the EVO because it is not popular for it.
