Dude that's one sick GSX. Just goes to show u the true potential of this AWD, forced injection monster. Forget the FR domistics that only get two wheels spinning, put a AWD against it and by the time the domistic sticks his tires the AWD is half way down the 1/4 mile.

Ok that is one incredibly sick GSX....definitely need to use that to smoke domestics, lol....holy cow...one of my favorite auto-clips ever.

hopefully within the next year or two i should be getting an awd monster. That car is sick, makes me want to get mine even sooner.:D

Ya, I have to agree with you guys. In time I hope my GSX will be doing half of that. Could only imagine the money that it took to build up the car to perform in such a way... But, guess I will find out.

Yeah. But no matter how much that thing cost (I mean, short of costing like a Zonda or an Enzo or something like that) it was definitely worth it. :)

you can make and EVO run low 9s with $20k in engine mods and break 800AWHP easy even 900AWHP depending on tune and PSI. so add that to my $22k for the car 42K for a street monter that would beat almost anything out there

Evos are so under rated. They can be hooked up to be a monster on any track or circuit any where and it's costs less than u would pay for slow domestics like Camaros or Corvettes.

If anything ill say the EVO is overrated.... So many times they rave about eveything in the car but I can list some inperfections that show luxary and driveablity being its short side. but when your making a fast car you sacrifice luxary and drivability so it is expected

I plan on buying a 1g and spending around 10k-15k on it building it up. We'll see where that gets it.

the stock bottom end cant handle 400hp for a extended peroid of time. He deff had a rebuild either a built 7 bolt or 6, either way to get that car to run 11's takes some cash, I am guessing an easy 5g.

Damn, I've got a '97 Trans Am sitting in the garage that I picked up that I hope will never be put to shame like that red one, I believe it was a '98 or higher but damn, that Eclipse is freaking faster than hell, hope my GSX Turbo will be that fast once I am done.

No GSt I am going in the direction of MKIV Supra (93.5-98) but come on $350\Mo I was paying $333\Mo on my 2002 GT spyder that is why I got the EVO only $20 more a month for a much better car

Ya, but at the moment i'm paying 400 a month on my gst. Not to a bank or to a dealership, but to my grandparents. they gave me the money to buy the eclipse. So i'm still 5000 under with the car. In a day or two i'll be down 4600. so ya, i'm kinda stuck lol

ya, mine had about 105k miles on the car, but only around 55k on the engine/tranny/turbo and stuff. plus mine came with all the bells and whistles.
The only thing that i wish i had known before buying the car was the original owner had custom subs in the trunk so he took out all the trunk carpet and plastic. only plastic left are the side panels in the trunk. plus he removed the winshield wiper fluid pump. so i don't have winshield wiper fluid. plus the rear winshield wiper doesn't work. Do you think i paid a good price for this car or was I punked?

Z06 aside from it's $65k price hits 60 in 3.7 seconds, still in first gear. May be expensive, but not slow.

you havent seen an EVO with power then, they become just as bad when they get at 500HP too. it is hard to keep the rear end under wrapps. the Vette i bet is not as bad as you think on a circuit it is not just made to go fast it is so aerodynamic

Plus how many people who have the 65K are actually looking to bring their cars to the circuit? I don't know a lot people who would pick an Evo over a Corvette with the thought of the circuit. I personally would buy the Evo and save the extra cash left over.

Evos are fast and useful. Race 'em, Road Trip with buddies, drive around town. Crovettes are small and you can only fit 2 people. Boring road trip if you ask me. lol

2 seaters are the best for that... who wants to lug 5 people around all the time. the RX7 is a 2 seater I would love a car that small, my parents crossfire is a 2 seater and the feeling of sitting in a tiny car is so nice to drive.

your crazy....But then your looking at it as a daily driver. I am talking weekend worrior. I would soooo take a C6 or zo6 over the EVO any day. Plus I have a weakness for Mid engine RWD cars which are 2 seaters and on a weekend car 2 seater is the way to go, for a Daily driver ya space it better. I daily drive my EVO but if I were to make it really fast I would not drive it every day plus the plan to sell it so I dont want to waiste the money on another car yet. But When I get a supra it will only be a weekend car

aww i get ya. Ya, a corvette or rx-7 would be a great weekend driver. Something to take out on those clear days to show off. but definentally, more space is better for a daily driver

I've seen the Z06 on the circuit and they have real problems with overstearing.....

I know a teacher at my buddy's high school that hits the circuits up on PA all the time and all he keeps telling us is how bad everyone gets mopped up by the Evos there.

Look we are not denying that the evo will eat up a rwd car on a circuit race. But i know if i bought a z06 i wouldnt be driving in a circuit. I wouldnt even want to do that with any car. Its a car to drive around town and cruise. That is why i would buy it over the evo.

your back on the DAily driver subject with this, boht cars are better weekend cars. If it came down to me to make a choice of what weekend car I would want I would NOT hessitate to take a zo6 over the EVO (That coming from an owner of and EVO says alot, and I love my car) you guys just dont understand the negitives that come with the EVO that you dont get with the zo6 or even C5 or C6 for that matter I would take a C6 over my EVO too.
