I dunno? Thats what I saw last month... or at least thats what I got from it, and normally when you nominate something other people have to second it, I was in my class democarcy. :D It dosent have to be a rule though.

I was sitting here thinking wow their should be some rules for rotm or something, the I though to my self... there is. This is the way patrick set it up.

you can not nominate yourself. you can not be ROTM 2 months in a row, although anyone who has already won, can win again. nominations will be limited to 5 per month. the nominations will be closed once we reach 5, or after 2 weeks.

The way nominations will officially work:

1. Someone nominates Joes 2004 EVO
2. Someone else seconds that nomination for Joes 2004 EVO (at this point, the nomination is official)
3. Joe accepts the nomination, thus locking it in for voting

correct....we can do without the seconding, until we get more interest in this, but we have to have people accepting...so that we know that the person is active...

Yea thats a very good point. I think so far it has worked pretty well. Most of the time we are getting second's and people accepting. The only thing i i think a problem is the lack of active members. We need to try and get more people on here.

I'm not trying to say "screw everyone else, i dont' want them in the running" because i do. all have sweet cars. I'm just saying we might have a better voting period if there are less contestants and more voters. Just a thought. I like the competition ;) lol

I was under the impression that the rules stated you could not nominate yourself. That would include, I would THINK, seconding your own nomination to get you nominated.

No one but me seconded the nomination, and as mine would be void, I have not accepted a nomination as of yet.
