What engine is in your 00' Mirage? I am looking for a cat back exhaust for my 98' 1.5L with no luck. Know where I can get one?

Also have you changed the underdrive pulley? I think that gets you a few horses.

My friend the factory underdrive pulley left you more hp than the light one, I make the test in the Dyno with the factory one I only gain 1 hp over the light
much more torque than the light one, when I go to the race track run witn the factory one 2 more mille that when I have the light one, course I get it better time.

For your 1.5 exhaust make it custom 2 inch :)

ive seen alot of guys swap in a 4g63t to their mirage. In my opinion that would be the best option, it would be a huge difference.

yes my friend here they change they opinion when they see my car run is a simple mirage took out 155hp at the wheel to the 1.8L make 14.00 to 98 mph, you say to me you gona

change a mirage for a civic, I tell you even a b16 run with my car they have to stop me to ask what the hell have my engine.

I can tell you right now you don't need to be driving something that's got more than 20 horsepower. Your ovbiously not a guy that knows how to do stuff himself, much less race. You're driving a 1.8 liter automatic car. There's nothing wrong with that, but cmon man... you're not going to get more horsepower out of that than you can with a moped. Either get some money together, or deal with a 1.8 liter. You can invest 3k into it for headers, CAI... and a body kit. Overall your gona get like 5 hp. Don't waste your, or anyone else's time thinking you're going to race in a ****in 4 banger automatic mitsubishi.

Look the thing for these cars is that you have to look for the correct parts ,for the performance the first step I dint was get a little more of compresion with 4G92 pistons

they are exactly like the G93 but they have a little dome. Then make head ported and poolish and make a American Cam with my own specification obviosly the other thing

you should have header,CAI,fuel regulator, exhaust my opinion the better exhaust system for mirage are HP racing, CAI PVC tube 3 inches , Mal Passy fuel regulator and a

underground tircks they are little complex to explain here about the functioning of the engine.Important detail a ACT plate with a cluthnet bronce without springs.

I just want to say a couple things. 1) if you dont have money then why the hell are you asking to get a 1.8L mirage to beat mustangs. (not gonna happen sorry to say). My opinion is to save your money if you dont plan on going big with it. I wasted money on my ricer car back then and regret it.

Ji,ji,Ji; "Ford Mustang" I live in Puerto Rico and we beat those Mustangs with a 4 cilinders engines easy!!!!!!!! The Ford Mustang has a great 1/8 timings but in the 1/4 of mile we can beat the Mustang. And if you make a long road test with a Mustang at high speed the temperture goes up and up and up.

Nitrous is always fun :D I had a 50 dry shot hooked up to my NA rage and it moved pretty good. If you're looking at reliable power without having to fill up a tank twice a week, I'd say header (which you've already got), cat back exhaust, UDP, a good CAI to cover the basics. Anything above and beyond this with the g93 will require some form of engine managment (most common for us ragers is the SAFC or the Emanage), bigger injectors, FPR and tuning. That, and swap to a manual tranny, it's just more fun.

ported and polish heads.... will help. hmmm lighter pistons and rings will help too.(check race engineer site for avail.)
