Default 2G DSM auto tranny fluid concerns

Ok.. I didn't know about this whole Mitsubishi Diamond SP auto tranny fluid thing until after I added SuperTech **** into my car. Now my gears are beginning to slip and what not... SO... I need to get my auto tranny fluid flushed and get the proper fluid in there.

Q1) How quickly will the wrong fluid screw up my tranny beyond repair?

Q2) Can the fluids be flushed manually, PROPERLLY, without a machine?
EDIT: No. This also doesn't remove the fluid from the torque converter.

Q3) How much does it costs to get it done by a professional compared to doing it on my own?

Q4) For my car (2G DSM), is it Mitsubishi Diamond SP II or Mitsubishi Diamond SP III ?.. or something else?
EDIT: Mopar 7176 ATF+3

Thanks guys.

Well, I've found 2 of the 4 since no one seems to know here. I'll probably get it changed before anyone even replies. lol. Good stuff.

I went by a tranny shop yesterday and talked to one of the mechanics about my problem. He said that you can add up to 4 qts of GM Dextron II or III (I can't remember which he said, but the one I put in was dextron III) fluid to the tranny pan of a mitsu that takes Mopar ATF+3 and not have a problem (I added about 1 qt thru the dipstick area). He said most likely the transmission is just starting to wear and get old, being as the car is almost 10 years old.

I'm not an expert on transmission fluids, but does this sound accurate? He seemed to know what he was talking about.

I'm probably going to drain the fluid and add some new on my own anyways. I know I won't be able to completely flush it out, but it's better than nothing. I don't think it's been changed since the car was purchased.. it now has 95k mi on it. lol. There we two previous owners and I know the previous owner never had it changed.. not sure about the 1st. Either way, it's passed 60k and 90k so I'm sure it needs some fresh goo in there.

Doesn't seem to smell burnt.. I just went out and snorted it after driving 15 miles. lol. What would a burnt smell indicate?
