Sup guys! I have a 99 galant 2.4. I want a v6 and 5 speed manual. Is this hard to do?

Im guessing your doing it because you want more power? More power + FWD = S H I T

Take my word for it. Buy an AWD/RWD car

Your not comparing apples to apples. You cant just throw a motor in there.

So in other words, it will probably be cheaper to just buy the car like that already.

 

negative. tranny swaps can be done. They are done all the time. You just need a tranny out of a v6 00-05 eclipse.
I have seen this done plenty of times. My friend has personally been a part of 2 v6 galant tranny swaps and 3 I4 galant tranny swaps.

and as far as cost it varies with how much you get the used tranny for, and if you are going to keep it stuck or upgrades...
after reading your post again. if you have the I4 2.4 and you want to make it a v6 5speed, I don't believe that is doable.
But you can make your I4 5speed. And you can even swap an evo motor into your car as well.

 

I was talking more about the V6+the tranny swap.....

 

it will be FAR, FAR cheaper to sell your car and buy the V6 model.
