i just bought a 99 montero sport and i have about 183 miles on it now and less then a 1/4 tank left so if i keep at this pace ill end up at about 10-11 mpg, the guy i bought it from claimed around 20mpg, so what could be going on 50 miles were highway and the rest city, but thats pretty horrible, my full size gmc with a 350 and a lift got better mileage then this thing, its been pretty cold here and stuff but im not sure that would make it that bad or what, so any advise or info would be great, it also has the famous cam cover leak also, thanks

 

no one has had experience or has any ideas about what could be going on with my sport here??? its just pretty disappointing so far i guess hopefully some can point me in the right direction, thanks
