Painting my interior
I started painting my cars interior last week. I like what i'm seeing. I'm using Krylon fudion paint and rustoleum automotive clear coat. I'm posting this just to show everyone else my experience with these paticular paints and such.
I'm trying to make sure to keep the pieces i'm painting as clean as possible and give them a light sanding before painting.
Taking your time is a MUST.
I'm using a satin black as my main color, and burgendy as the accsent color.
Feel free to post anything you think is helpfull so someone else might find this thread usefull.

If you are painting plastic interior parts, cleaning them is a must, soap water, then alcohol.
An adhesion promoter next, then wet sand-able primer, sand with 200 grit (wet), apply another coat, then 400 (wet), apply another coat, 1000 grit, wipe off residue with wet rag, wait to dry, apply base coat, Duplicolor Dash and Vinyl Paint works best (expands and contracts without cracking in variable temperatures), Rustoleum Crystal Clear Coat, wax then install, will last forever
