MMCS - allow passenger to use Nav
Thank you all for a great forum; I'm sure I'll be using it often.
I'm new to Mitsubishi having just bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed (Australian).
I have questions regarding the MMCS:
1. Does putting a switch in line with the MMCS speed sensor input to allow the passenger to use the nav system still work on newer models?
2. If yes, has there been a change to the wire colour-code or connector pin #
3. Is there an easier way? New options in some hidden MMCS menu?
4. What is the current method to update maps?
I know these questions have probably been asked before, but I can find specific info for later models. The sticky posts at 10+ pages are a bit difficult to follow
Cheers,
Dave
