Default Water in engine

Hello!
First time user here! So I have a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse spider gt. I drove it through some flood water a little to fast and push water over my hood and into my intake it will not even crank over, it sounds like it try's but just won't, but anyways I took my air intake out( it was filled with water....) and then I took my manifold off to take all the spark plugs off. I got them out and I tryed to turn my engine over to get the water out. Nothing!! I'm stuck, the limit of my knowledge was thinking the spark plugs would allow the pressure to escape.
Please help
