Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

Default is a 3000gt a good car to tune up?

i need a project car to tune up....and i was wondering if a 3000gt would be a good car to tune up?
are there alot of aftermnarket performance products available for this car?
is it capable of high horsepower? i wanted to ask peaple that have experiance in driving a 3000gt...any help will be greatly appreciated

yes its capable of big power. Lots of mods out there...transfer cases a little weak, tranny is subpar, but engine and supporting stuff is GREAT! Very fun fast car.

3000gt is a great car for tt engine swap. Get a stage 2 p&p and slap on a twin turbo and enjoy the ride. Unless you already have a vr-4 but they are pricey.

The TT's arent pricey comapred to their counter parts. Cheaper than the RX7, Supra, and Z. And faster than all of them stock vs stock.

Do you mean the audi TT engine? I am 16 and I am just starting to get into tuning
