Default Buying and building

I am looking to buy a 3000gt in a few months that pretty much will run but could use work. what is a price ranges for engines to put in it and what type and etc. I am pretty new to this but i am willing to put alot of effort into a car like this. I don't have a high stream of money but i can get a good amount for work, i just need details on engine and perfomance

i doubt this engine is better than the twin turbo but its 3.5 liter instead of 3.0 liter.

If your going to get a VR-4 or a TT R/T your best bet is to go with a 94+, they fixed alot of problems in the prier years. They have better oiling, 4 bolt bottom ends, more power (mosty because of more PSI). I have a 92 Stealth R/T TT , took me awhile to find a good deal on a motor. When I bought the car the motor was blow. Investment of money in time that has to be put into TT modles is quite high. Im selling my stealth, just put a 95 motor, rebuilt heads, 6 speed convertion. If you interested let me know.
