Can someone help change timing belt will pay!
He y guys I am new here and have a 1994 3000gt sl dohc v6. I was replacing engine and I got a used one. Before I was gonna put the engine in I was gonna change timing belt. Im not too savy will these cars. I was told to line the marks up will turning the cams. When I did the cam skip a couple teeth on the belt like the belt was too loose. I need someone to replace my timing belt for me and set the timing. The engine is on a pallet on the garage floor, so it is right there to do. If anyone can help I would really appreiate it I would pay you and pick you up at your house whatever you need. I live about 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh. PLEAE HELP

Cant physically help with the belt replacement, but there are some things you might want to know, there are two tools that are HIGHLY recommended to do this job,I bought both. You also need to be aware that IF the original belt on the engine was loose(even a little) you could have intake valve damage.I had to replace all 12 intake valves on my 3000gt,the belt had been replaced prior to me getting it,but the tensioner pulleys werent replaced, nor the tensioner itself.I really never determined exactly what let loose, and replaced all the timing bely drive components as well as Water pump.
I will give you the link to the 60K service on Team3S website.I suggest you look it over carefully..It was a lifesaver for me.

Im not saying youre valves are bent, but it would be a shame to put it all togther, and hang it just to find out you have no compression..
If you get the proper tools, and download the link above, you should be able to handle it yourself,At least you have youre engine out of the car, mine wasnt...[sm=goodidea.gif]

No worries, but whatever you do,I would definately replace the water pump while its down, theyre relatively cheap, and dont get a reman, get a new one...thing here is if the water pump goes south, youre gonna have to go back into the same area again, and the anti freeze leak could damage youre new belt. Not to mention that the water pump is driven by the timing belt.....hollar if you need any help...
