Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

Why doesn't Mitsubishi make the 3000 GT anymore?

Yes, but at the crank, NOT to the wheels! Remember, you lost anywhere from 12%-20% of your hp via the tranny. That means you are losing anywhere from 35 to 60 hp at the tranny even more with less efficient tranny's. That is a guge difference in hp and dont forget, you get more torque out of the 2.5L. I do not have any numbers on the torque but it will obviously we more.

I will try to find out the torque on these 2.5L motors with the 2.0L heads.

I have been told that after dynoing, the 2.0L heads breath better and thats why they are a better combo than the 2.5 heads

awwww.....and i, guess 2.5w/ 2.0 heads is lighter for both the chassis and tranny. so, theres no fittings problem at all?? w/ 2.0 heads??

No problem at all. The 2.0L and 2.5L heads are hard to tell apart by size. You have to look at the side case, and the 2.0 has ribs and the 2.5L is smooth.

Here is a photo of the side of my motor in my toy....

Speaking of scooby heads, anyone know the lift and duration of the 2.0l and 2.5l heads?

Sorry I dont. But if no one here can get tis info, I can get ahold of the person that built my motor and ask him. He is really busy and not easy to get ahold of.
