Hi. Our air conditioner blows cold air, and I believe the side vents blow normally, but the main center vent blows pretty poorly. Cold air comes through but not as strong as it was yesterday and before. It was 100 degrees today and not sure if that has anything to do with it.

With reading, I see it may be cabin air filter. I looked behind the glove box, underneath the dash, but don't see a filter box. Would anyone know if the 2003 Diamante for sure has a cabin air filter?

I have a 2002 LS. There is no cabin filter.

 

I went on the hunt for this filter because of a musty smell. Removing the glove box, you see the blower compartment. There is a sort of foam filter in it. Very difficult to open without breaking plastic. Probably not meant to ever be changed.
I did not change mine. Bummer

 

Mine, don't have cabin filter...You need to add freon on that matter!

 

my car isn’t taking refrigerant, compressor clutch is spinning too.
