Default 2005 Endeavor Coil pack and battery fuse

So right now my biggest problem is that the fuse link on my battery terminal has melted again, making it the second one to melt. What could be causing this and how can I fix it so it won't happen again? I bought the vehicle used and turns out it has a boat battery in it. I do not know if that is causing that issue or what the fuse link does.

secondly, my coil packs keep failing. They were put in brand new 6 months ago and my mechanic has no idea why they are doing that or why it has a grinding noise on start up on the drivers side of the vehicle.

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

I never experienced or ran into a issue like this. From what you are saying though...replace the battery 1st with the correct one for the Endeavor. That could be the source of your electrical issue.

Endy's will not run long on after-market coil packs, they fail with high rate! Use ONLY OEM-Dealer coil packs! I learned the hard way myself!
