hello, I have an 04 endeavor, always had problems with clicking noise by the passenger side dash. The clicking noise has gotten worse. however, it stops when I turn the temp to the heat.... Now sometimes my ac stops blowing completely. Dealership told me it is the AC blower motor, $300 to replace, has anyone done this job on their own? if so, can you explain how difficult of a job it is, and how to do it. thanks.
I have read on some other forums the clicking is from a "blend door" but the dealership did not mention that...

Blower motor fairly easy. Can even buy in amazon for about 60.

Recommend checking the motor to make sure its the motor and not something else like resistor and it fuse.

Motor is easily checked by applying 12vdc.

Located just above passenger feet position.

Also make sure wiring to it not burned etc.
