Where the heck is the drain located so I can clean it? 2008 6 cyl Endeavor. It does not seem to be in the same place as in the 2004 shown in threads. Please help.

 

That's weird!!!... but it's possible that they change the design since the early versions were having drainage failure between the firewall and the A/C drainage. Perhaps if you buy the manual from AutoZone, or Advance Auto Parts you might find it quickly. Good Luck!

 

very hard to find; there is a hole in the firewall behind where 3 or 4 small steel tubings turn from horizontal to vertical. problem is, you could do some damage if you probe too hard into this hole. better idea: i took mine to the dealer - there is a TSB (tech service bullitin) for the AC not draining. apparently, the gasket material they used at the factory deteriorates & clogs the drain. ask them to look for the TSB. otherwise, it is an 8 hour job, removing the dash & taking apart the evaporator housing. the recall replaces the gasket material with something that wont deteriorate. they did my truck under warranty.
