I'm posting about something I'm trying to fix for my Mothers 2005 Endeavor AWD.

Yesterday she called me and said she couldn't remove her key from the ignition. I looked the problem up online and found the key interlock TSB and the recall on the similar issue. I went down and pulled the center console and found the cable connecting arm has broken free from the plastic piece that holds it onto the shifter assembly. It has actually broken the plastic piece and needs to be replaced. She called Mitsu and they said the recall has already been performed and this wouldn't be fixed under warranty.

Does anyone know where I can find the part number for this piece. I believe its called the selector lever lock cam.

I copied the picture from the recall. The part that's broken is the white plastic tab the cam lever connects to I circled it in yellow.
