91 galant wont start....think its power control module
Hey i searched the site and i couldnt find any answers to my problem so i thought i would post this. I have a 91 mitsu galant and its not starting at the moment. I was driving it one day stopped at a gas station came back out and wouldnt start. Tryed jumping it, replacing battery, still was not starting. I then checked to see if it was getting a spark and if fuel was coming out. It was. So then i took off the fuel rail and fuel was getting throught the fuel rail. The problem i summed it down to is the injectors are not firing. I think it might be the PCM(power control module) but i dont want to spend 300 bucks on that and it not be it. I was just wondering if anyone had the same problem with the 89-92 galants 2.0 SOHC engines. Ive had a couple people say it might be a sensor. But any answer will be greatly appreciated either to fix it or a test to find what it is, as i am carless right now.
Thank you,
JC

RE: 91 galant wont start....think its power control module
The fuses, on my 95 Galant, all look good. The engine cranks, that means there is spark right? The engine cranks like its going to start but then nothing happens. A mechanic checked the distributor and he says its good, he said that it might be the control module (whatever that is:-). So now, I'm trying to look for a control module. Anyway to check this module if its working or not?
