TPMS: Schrader 33000 ok?
The car has a low tire pressure warning light on. It's a 2007 Galant GTS, so 9 years old, I'll replace all 4 TPMS sensors, but not at dealer prices!
The Schrader web site lists their 33000 as the rubber stemmed replacement. Is that a good fit to the 17" alloy wheels?
On this car, do the sensors have to be programmed or do they self program?
(my wife's 2008 Town & Country, you just install a new sensor and 5 miles later, the car sees it).

After more research, the 33000 has to be programmed. There is the 20034 sensor that does not need programming. However, the car itself needs to be programmed to the sensors What a horrible system. I think I am going to take out all the tpms sensors and put a piece of black tape over the dash light, and avoid the dealer.
I much prefer the system my Chrysler has - fit a new tpms sensor, the car detects it, done, no dealer visit, no added inconvenience, time, cost.
