Outside rearview mirror

Outside rearview mirror
Hello,
I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. Today I hit one of the pillars in the parking and broke the passenger side outside rear view mirror, however the electrical connection for rotating the mirror is working fine. Its just that the mirror fitting became loose.
If I take it to a mechanic, will he be able to fix it, or should it be replaced? If replaced will a new mirror match the color of my car. The current color of my car is burgandi. Do you know how much does a rear view mirror assembly cost?
Thanks,
Subha

RE: Outside rearview mirror
Unfortunatly, If you broke it, it's broke. It's not hard to replace, but I'm unsure if they come painted. Call the dealer and get a price and description. A body shop can easily match the color. Paint it off of the car then install it. Takes about 20 minutes.
