Question Bank 1 Sensor 2?

Okay, I have a 2001 Galant GTZ V6 engine, so my check engine light has been on for a year, got my car scanned, these codes came up: P0136 Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Bank 1 Sensor 2, P0141 Sensor Heater Malfunction: Bank 1 Sensor 2, and P0300 Random/Multiple Cyclinder misfire. Went to advanceautoparts to buy the O2 sensor, was told i needed this one http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...R%7CGRPEMISAMS____
If the link doesnt show up, just type in advanceautoparts.com and search bosch oxygen sensor and its part number 15514.
Where exactly is Bank 1 Sensor 2 and can someone please explain clearly, perhaps a diagrahm or something. I was told its on the rear manifold, left side, but im not car savey at all and it looks like this car has a lot of sensors so im quite confused when i pop the hood. Is the installation something I can do myself because i bought the tool to unscrew the sensor or maybe get a friend to do it. Thanks in advance everyone! You can view my a pic of my car here: http://www.mypicx.com/uploadimg/1337...08102009_1.jpg

I have the same problem it must be the Sensor before the catalyctic converter if have extra 100 buck you can go to the dealer and ask them to have it Engine Diagnostic ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR CAR WILL SHOW UP ON THE DIAGNOSTIC ESPECIALLY the bank 1 sensor 2

I have a problem with my bank 1 sensor 3 that's the last sensor all the way in the back
I think yours is before the cat mine is on top of the cat. get me

The prices is cheaper on the internet but those sensor will cost you almost $600 buck each.

The Bosch sensor is not GOOD avoid them. try Denso or other Japanese brand.
Avoid any sensor from Pep Boys or any store that sell them Cheap.

there should be 3 sensor one after the manifold 2 before the cat and 3 on top of the cat

go to Mitsu dealer parts parts ask the guy to print out the diagram for your 02 sensors car. they will do that for free the used that to order the exact part and bring your VIN number too.

good luck

I have an '04 galant, and it has 4 o2 sensors 2 on top of the cat and 2 on bottom of the cat the 2 on the top are the same and same with the bottom, the 2 for the top are around $90 a pc, and the 2 for the bottom are around $40 a pc at auto zone, I've replaced all but 1 of them, saving the money for the last one. which seems to be the one that might be the convict.

I am going thru the process of elimination.
First was the bank 1 sensor 1, next bank 1 sensor 2.
For the first I bought the universal sensor. Had to make up my own plug using the old sensors wiring.
Didn't work, bought bosh which fixed the problem for a day.
Next day check engine light came on with code P0141.
I bought bosh part # 15583. Can't get it to reset.
At first after reset it would come back in about 15mi. Now comes back on second engine start. I have to check wiring. but don't know where to even start.
Maybe it will be easier to swap b2s2 with b1s2 and see if the problem goes with sensor or stays with wiring. Any ideas?
