the whole sunroof and interior light switches dont work, brought car to mechanic and came home, those buttons dont work..
what can i do? i dont want to spend more money to fix this when i could possibly do it myself
I unscrewed the whole thing to see if there was anything abnormal going on inside, and it looked fine.
but the lights and sunroof dont work anymore
any ideas?

 

thats on a 98 galant..the interior courtesy lights and sunroof switches arent working. anyone have an idea whats wrong or whatI can do to fix this myself. and no fm radio signal, i also got a new antenna and still no fm. thank you

Did you check your fuses for the sunroof switch and interior lights?

 

Since you have no fm signal, do u have any am stations?

 

yes i changed the fuse. 20 yellow amp fuse..and it still doesnt work..so im not sure what else i can do..and i do have AM stations..just no fm..thanks for responding..let me know more when u get a chance

Can you plug an antenna to the back of the radio b/c that can eliminate if your antenna cable in the car is bad or the radio is bad.

Does your sunroof still not work?

 

the sunroof and lights still do not work.
i replaced the fuse and still nothing, ig uess its not the fuse.
i replaced the antenna a few months ago also, and the fm radio still does not work.
i can buy an antenna and plug it into the back of the radio?

 

Was the fuse blown? And do u have power at the sunroof?


You can buy an antenna and plug it into the radio. That will tell you if the radio is bad, if you get fm then the antenna cable is bad in the car.
