I had a 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5 2 door coupe.

1.8 is the only engine that will fit on theMirage. that engine has only 112 to 119 horspower and the 1.5 is 98 horsepower only.

The engine bay is small you can't fit bigger engine on the Mirage. if you want it will be a big pain to install one. GOODLUCK

your best bet is finding a better crank shaft, pulleys, headers, cat back exhaust, ram intake et etc.

Get the parts from http://www.rpw.com they sell Mirage Performance parts.

Sorry you have 4G Mirage totally different from 1.5 AND 1.8 Engine of the regular Mirage.

You can put an Evo 1 engine on your Mirage or try that web site again

I recommend you to just upgrade your engine parts. RPW again is the place to buy parts and they are from Australia it is hard to find engine and parts in America. you have to order them from Japan
