Default Mitsubishi Mirage 1997 1.5L master rebuild

I'm preparing for a massive overhaul on my 97 Mirage and was wondering if anyone had a good rebuild kit website for Mitsubishi motors. If it's practically impossible to find (like most mirage parts are) then is there any type of motor that would bolt up or convert easily over to the 97 mirage 5 speed transmission?

The easiest, cheapest, and most common swap for the 5G Mirage is the 4G64 out of a 3G Eclipse. Its bolt in, you will need an engine harness, and ECU from a 5G 1.8 Mirage, and a fuel pressure sensor from the 3G Eclipse. I'm about to do this one for mine. Just working up to it with supporting mods.

Good for power and fuel economy.

If you really wanna go all out, the 4G63T from an EVO is a bada$$ swap. Kind of expensive, and gas mileage is out of the question. But people have been known to get 1000hp out of that engine with the right mods, fuel, and tune.
