Default Road Noise!

I have a 2017 Mirage. The road noise is killing me. Has anyone installed sound deadening material themselves? Is there a certain spot that helps more than others?

Only had the car two weeks so far. I think the body looks much better than the 2015 (no 2016 available). My boss has a 2015 and when they are parked next to each other you can see how much better the 2017 looks.

Gas mileage is great! I think it is very comfortable. I am 6'1", 260lbs and I fit nicely. Stereo sounds great.

Complaints:
Road noise is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No center armrest. (I found one online I will try for $70)
Wife takes out all the head rests when she drives it because they are in her way. My boss does the same thing. (doesn't bother me)

Not much else to report after only two weeks.

Someone please help with the road noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got mine last August and drive it 160+ miles a day (17450 so far). All highway and the only thing I can really think of is getting some sound deadening foam from JC Whitney and installing it. That would mean taking apart the interior and door panels. Personally not worth it in my opinion. Its a light skinned vehicle with awesome gas mileage so its kinda a trade off for me.

To me It's the muffler. It's not Tuned Exhaust. I haven't shopped around yet for another quiet muffler for a 70 HP engine.

The muffler is not TUNED EXHAUST. Shop around for another Quiet one for 70 or 100 HP engine.

The head rests flip around, couldn't stand mine either, so I pulled them out, flipped them around, good to go.
