My tempature guage is all over the place. I was told there is a computer of some sort behind the instrument cluster that is the culprit. My question is... If I were to buy one from a 03 Montero would I be able to use that one with out having to send it to be recalibrated?

 

hi i had that problem with 01 montero if you change that computer behind the instrument cluster for a new one you will get 0miles like if you just bought the car that happened to me but the montero 01 and the 03 they changed a bit but i donīt think the instrument panel had changed but you should take out yours and compared it with the 03 just in case
