Default 2001 Montero Sport engine leaking oil at plug on rear of cylinder head

So I just got my car back from my mechanic and he said that my 2001 montero 's engine is leaking oil at the plug on the rear of the cylinder head on the drivers side. He said that he's been able to fix this problem when it was on the passengers side because there is more room, but because my leak is on the drivers side he said it was pretty much impossible due to the very limited space. Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone have suggestions? Thanks for reading.

If the oil leak is coming from the back of the head on driver side - you have a leak at the camshaft position sensor. You need to replace an o-ring around the housing for the sensor. It's tight in there, but its totally doable. Just need to make sure the engine is cold when you stick your hand in there.
