I have a 2002 montero limited that has a bad engine. Im having a little trouble finding a replacement. I have found an engine out of an 03 but it appears from searching around that the 03 are not the same. I am wondering what is the difference between 02 and 03 engines? Is it something I can remove off mine like the intake manifold that will make it the same or are they just that different? Are there any other mitsubishis out there with the same engine to help widen the search? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
