2002 Montero XLS No Parking Lights or Brake Lights
So I just noticed late last night that my parking lights are not on with my headlights. The blinkers work/hazards- but no parking lights. I didn't figure out until I was at work today that I probably don't have brake lights either. I'm thinking its a fuse. I have to run out during my lunch hour and check the fuses. I am reading that this could be an old battery issue? Bad Ground?
Is any one else having this issue? Help! Thanks!

I just fixed the same problem ive had for the past month or so. I went off roading and bottomed out quite a few times. Coming home from my adventure, a cop pulled me over and said i had NO brake lights. Third brake light and both tail lights were out. I did the same as you and checked the fuse but all of them were alright and appeared working. After illegaly cruising around without brake lights for a few weeks, it dawned on me that my brake light switch must be screwed due to the harsh impacts during off roading.
My advice to you is to check your brake switch underneath the brake pedal. Get a friend to be behind your car and click the switch with your finger. Pushing the button in means the light does not come on, and it being fully extended out means the brake lights should come on. If it is not consistent evry time you do it, its needs to be replaced.
I went to Pep Boys, got the part for $27 and they wanted to charge me $90 for labor. One of their workers was cool enough to do it for $30 and in less than five minutes, i had brake lights AGAIN!
Hope this helped

I'm not sure what happened but now I have brake lights, but still no Parking Lights. The bulbs all work because have hazards and signals. I cant seem to find a Parking Light switch or relay - does anyone have any idea how I get my parking lights back on? Fuses are all good.
Thanks!
Thanks!

All of the bulbs burned out at the same time. All the fuses were good. Replaced front parking bulbs, and all rear stop/brake bulbs.

The hazards have thier own bulbs, the parking bulbs burned out, and needed to be replaced.
