Default 3.0 misfire when cold

Have 97 Mitsu Montero Sport 4x4 w/ 3.0. It misfires on cold start and has intermittent misfire while driving. P0300 random misfire code stored. Plugs are ok, took fuel sample (it was dirty), so changed filter. The only thing I noticed is that the crankshaft pulley wobbles like a loose wheel but the bolt is tight. The recall was done. All the basics check out. Can't really swap anything because of random misfire. Don't know where to go now. Any suggestions, greatly appreciated. Ron

Spark plug wires. Change the plugs and wires with OEM wires and NGK plugs... nothing else
