Advice on a Purchase
Hi! I'm currently looking for a second vehicle with plenty of room for my family. I'm currently looking at a 2003 Montero Sport. I've reading online and have found very few bad reviews and it seems like a generally well received vehicle. The seller is only asking for $4000 which seems like a pretty decent price to me. The main problem is it has 196,000 miles on it and I'm usually against buying anything with that kind of mileage under its belt. So just wondering what you guys think? Is this a good price or should I ask for lower? What kind of problems should I expect with this vehicle? Honestly I don't know much when it comes to motor vehicles or what to look for on a purchase, so any help you can offer would be great.

If you are looking for a Montero with plenty of room for your family and gear for camping, wheeling, etc... I would suggest looking into a full sized Montero (not Sport). Our Monty has served us well for over ten years. Never left us stranded.
