Just picked up my 95' LS Montero. 1st. Freaking love it.

2nd... While I fixed a few problems on my own like the rear door not opening, seats not locking into position, ect.... little stuff like that. I cannot figure out.

3rd... The drivers door LOCK works. It locks/unlocks from both the outside and inside. However. Lets say it's locked from either the outside or the inside in any way. I then go to unlock the door with the key from the outside. It unlocks, however the door won't open. Here's the interesting part. Going to the inside of the vehicle and using the inside handle it opens right up.

I'm at a loss here... I tried to figure out the mechanism for about a hour and just can't see why the outside handle won't open the door once it's unlocked and only wont open from the outside.

Please help.

Aww come on guys. I've seen this issue around other forums but haven't found the cure. Someone drop a knowledge bomb!
