Default ecu testing

I have an 87 raider swapped to a 6g72 3.0 sohc and i have a no spark issue, I have pulled the codes for it and I get the crank angle sensor code but when I check the cam and crank sensor signals at the distributor and at the ecu connector I get good signals, is this a sign that part of the ecu may not be operating properly? there is no burnt smell or leaking capacitors. any input would be appreciated
