Default fog lights

I have a montero sport 2002 which i love and i installed fog light on it but it came with its own switch and now i want to install it that it can turn on and off with the low beam switch should i just wire it straight to the low beam wires thanks

I dont see why you couldnt, as long as its the ignition wire of the fog light switch. You can also tap into the positive wire of the shift indicator bulb. That will allow you to turn the fogs on with just the parking lights. Im not sure how you have the ignition wire hooked up, alot of people will just run that to the starter fuse in the fuse box under the dash. Personally I like to run the ignition wire into the shift indicator bulb so I can use the fogs with just the parking lights and the high and low beams.
