My alternator has shot craps and I need to replace it. I found a manual for the Montero's that goes up to 1996 but it appears to be different in placement of the alternator. Does anyone have some pages from a manual for a 1997 Montero on alternator removal and replacement they could share with me? This is not the Sport model. Or if you have done it yourself on this particular year and model then just give me some pointers if you can. Thanks for your help.
