Hi everyone. Is there away to deactivate eco mode in Montero sport 2021 gas?

 

Is there an ECO mode button?

Or does it just show ECO on the display sometimes?

 

In former models mainly in 2016 to 2019 there is afunction in the configuration menu for able/disable eco mode.But the newer models don't have such function.

 

The dealership may need to access the ECM with their software to enable/disable certain settings. However, this does not mean they can or will disable anything that has to do with emissions. Eco mode is a unique way manufacturers have come up with in order to pass certain emissions criteria while also allowing themselves the benefit of advertising Higher MPG. There may also be a sequence of pedal/switch presses, or a hidden menu somewhere. Wouldn't do any harm to ask the dealership if they know how or are willing to disable it, worst they can say is no.

Also, I'm assuming you've read through the users manual?
