My friend has a 99 Montero sport v6 he changed the battery and it wont start now aint sure if the anti theft was engaged and disabled the starter or what.But when the battery is hooked up the lights blink on and off and horn blows we tried holding the little red button in then turning the key to start position and nothing happened also the secong time he did it the red button broke and now nothing to push anybody got any ideas what could be wrong?And is there a way to bypass it to get it started?Thanks
