Hi Guys,

Newb here, first post with a Mitsu! Love the 95 montero I picked up LS, with 165k and auto. trans. Brakes are squeaking a lot so I'll replace those tomorrow. My Tach is stuck at 3500 and I cant find any threads on fixes. I am getting an exhaust leak but haven't checked out where, I saw the 3.5's have header issues and could use some insight on that if it's a common problem. everything seems good but if there are things i should be aware I would love some heads up.

Just make sure you exercise your 4WD system regularly if 4WD so nothing starts sticking because that is a common problem with the flashing front wheel lights. I own a 95 SR and my header/exhaust has no leaks so im not sure if that is commom on these. You might have to dissect the guage cluster alittle and make sure your needle is moving freely and determine wether its a mechanical problem or electrical, sometimes they get stuck. Anyways congratz on your buy and hope you can work out the lil bugs it has as im still doin with mine but i wouldnt trade it for nothin she gets me anywhere on or offroad.
